Naprosyn is used to treat inflammation and muscle pain brought on by ankylosing spondylitis, bursitis, menstrual cramps, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. Naprosyn is also used to treat common health conditions, such as headache, dental pain, tendonitis, and muscle pains.
Naprosyn works by blocking your body"s production of hormones that can lead to inflammation and pain.

Naprosyn dosage is dependent on the individual that it is being administered to. The following dosage is an average dose and could differ among individuals. Follow your medical professional"s directions for best results.

You should not lie down for 10 minutes after taking Naprosyn, as it can cause stomach upset. If stomach upset occurs, take Naprosyn with food, an antacid, or milk.
