Levaquin Dosage

Levaquin dosage is completely dependent on the individual that takes it, as it can be used for a variety of conditions. Note that the amount of Levaquin you take also depends on the age of the individual. In addition to that, the amount of Levaquin also depends on the strength of each pill/tablet and the amount of times you plan on taking the pill/tablet a day.

Levaquin dosage by tablet or oral solution

  • Levaquin dosage is usually 250 mg, 500 mg or 750 mg taken every 24 hours. Exact dosage depends on nature of bacterial infection being treated.
  • For children, consult with your doctor before usage and dosage.

Levaquin dosage by injection

  • The normal Levaquin dosage by injection is 250 mg or 500 mg over 60 minutes every 24 hours
  • Levaquin dosage by injection for 750 mg should be performed over 90 minutes every 24 hours.
  • Exact dosage by injection depends on nature of bacterial infection being treated.
