Isentress Uses
Isentress is a HIV integrase strand transfer inhibitor that helps to prevent the HIV virus from spreading throughout the body. The drug is used to treat HIV, but will not cure the human immunodeficiency virus.

Isentress Dosage
Isentress dosage is dependent on the individual that it is being administered to. The following dosage is an average dose and could differ among individuals. Follow your medical professional"s directions for best results.
- Adults and children over 12 years (tablets): 400mg twice daily
- Children weighing over 25kg (tablets): 400mg twice daily
- Children weighing over 25kg (chewable tablets): 150mg to 300mg twice daily
- Children weighing under 25kg (chewable tablets): 75mg to 150mg twice daily
