Ellence is used in the treatment of breast cancer and comes from a class of drugs known as anthracyclines. Ellence works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells. Ellence can also be used in the treatment of bone cancer. Use the drug only for a condition that is prescribed by your healthcare profession. Don"t use the medication if you may have some untreated infection or if you may have recently had a heart attack.

Ellence dosage is dependent on the individual that it is being administered to. The following dosage is an average dose and could differ among individuals. Follow your medical professional"s directions for best results.
The medication comes as a solution which is injected into the vein by a health profession along with some other chemotherapy drugs.
- Ellence is injected after every 21 days for about six cycles in each therapy.
- It may also be injected twice after every 28 days for six cycles of the therapy.

Ellence Side Effects

Ellence may cause the urine to turn reddish in color but it is a normal and harmless effect of the medication, and it usually stops after two days of each dose.
